Relaxed pace with deeper exploration
Fly into Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). Jerusalem is 45-60 minutes by shuttle or taxi. Many tours include airport transfers.
Spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) have ideal weather. Avoid major holidays unless you want the atmosphere.
Many nationalities get visa on arrival. Modest dress required at religious sites. Bethlehem requires crossing into Palestinian territory (usually easy with tours).
